Safe after her long journey, Chicken Edith arrived yesterday afternoon. She's a little travel weary still, and after some rest and refreshment she'll be more amiable as far as the camera is concerned. Hopefully by the weekend we'll get some shots of her. She's quite cozy roosting atop my couch and seems to have fit in very nicely. Maury, the dog, has not officially met her yet, and perhaps that is a good thing. I hope to be able to take her around and show her the sites once she's up for it, and as soon as the weather co-operates. I don't think rain is really her thing.
