That pretty much says everything I need to say.
I donated the remainder of the cello baggies I had made up to the local RCMP detachment, where I'm sure it will keep Liverpool's finest in poor nutrition for some time to come.
Next year, I am going all out. No holds barred. Kids will be hard pressed to ignore this place 364 days from now, I swear.
Remeber to place your vote in my sidebar for the puppy names. There is a dead heat going at the moment between Hank, Saxon and Johnny Utah. A little prize(s) for name suggesstions in the comments (most up to date post would be preferred from now until the end of Nov for name suggesstions). Something yarny I'm sure. And I promise it won't be craptacular.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go lay down as I battled with a bout of insomnia last night and I'd like to put this whole Halloween debacle behind me.
Until later...

Halloween isn't a "treat" any more cuz kids get junk all the time. I find most of the kids I know way too lazy to go far on Halloween night. It's too much "work". When I was a kid we went all over town. We'd end up going back to my house, empty the pillow case, and keep on trucking. I had 13 kids last night, but mine isn't an accurate figure since I was gone with my own two from 5:45 til almost 7:30. I have lots of leftovers, too. (Had 60 bags of chips and 75 bars.) Hubby already claimed what the boys didn't grab to take on the road next trip.
My mother just lives up around the corner from me. She only had 20 kids. When I was little we always had about 150 kids. One of my co-workers lives on Bristol Ave, and he only had 45, the fewest kids he's had since he's lived there.
awww ... that's too bad! I only had 34 (usually we get 60 - 70!). I figured out where you live, and know there are 2 kids almost across the street from you who were out with their cousin last night , so would guess they were 3 out of the 4.
I wonder if it had anything to do with it being light out for so long (usually it is dark at 5:30, and last night it wasn't until 6:30 ... I noticed not as many teens out, and next to no people with babies ~ just plain weird!
You have a good sleep! I have been known to wake up at all hours...I used to get up at 4:30 a.m. to do all sorts of things and to get to work early. Now I just roll over and say, "Thank you".
I did just try to be clever (wrong move, Ellen) and Googled the German words for knitting and wool for your little pup. Whoo, I don't think so.
(what's the German equivalent of Constable??)
Sorry about your poor count. That is why we now go out on Halloween. It is too frustrating waiting around for the 3 or 5 people we get. And then all the leftovers to deal with!
